James R, Higgins, MD

Dr. Higgins is a board-certified internist and cardiologist who maintains a successful cardiology practice in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  He graduated (summa cum laude) with a B.S. in electrical engineering from South Dakota State University in 1973 and from University of Rochester School of Medicine in 1977 (with highest honors).  Dr. Higgins served as Cardiologist, Chief of Electrocardiology, and Director of Research in the U.S. Air Force at Lackland AFB, Texas.  He later served or is currently serving as clinical professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, University of Oklahoma School of Medicine and Tulsa Medical College.  He is currently licensed to practice medicine in Oklahoma, Texas, Missouri and California.
