Mr. George F. Bashaw

Mr. Bashaw earned a Bachelor's Degree in 1964 from the University of Tulsa.  He entered the insurance business following graduation and in 1975, along with co-founder Sheryl Bashaw, founded XCorp to provide life insurance products to closely-held corporations, public corporations and to individuals with large estates.  As Managing Director of XCorp, Mr. Bashaw has developed innovative products and services in the life insurance field that are proprietary to XCorp. He has far reaching national contacts with prominent carriers, providers and suppliers in the insurance industry.  In January 1989, Mr. Bashaw designed, sold and implemented the first Managed Life plan to a Fortune 1000 company. Since 1990, he and XCorp have focused on specialized employee benefit products for the large corporate market with nationwide marketing and clients located coast to coast. In 2001, Mr. Bashaw designed, sold and implemented a critical illness insurance plan to a Fortune 1000 company, the first of its kind. Mr. Bashaw holds a pending patent on the critical illness insurance plan.  Mr. Bashaw is a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), a member of the Association of Advanced Life Underwriting (AALU), and one of the original shareholders and founders of M Financial Group.  M Financial is a national network of more than 100 independent insurance, investment and executive benefit firms and one of the nation's most influential buying consortiums for insurance products and services.  Mr. Bashaw has served on the boards and in various other capacities for prominent national insurance organizations and has testified before Congress on several occasions concerning issues affecting the insurance industry.
