Dr. Peter P. Budetti

Dr. Budetti is Professor of Public Health and Chair Dept. of Health Admin. & Policy, College of Public Health, University of Oklahoma. He has nearly 30 years experience conducting and directing health policy research. Dr. Budetti, Dr. Mello and Dr. Kachalia have been hired to assist in designing the methodologies to identify and verify avoidable adverse events for compensation. Dr. Budetti is a Pediatrician and lawyer. His medical degree is from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, and his law degree is from the School of Law (Boalt Hall), University of California, Berkeley. His undergraduate degree was awarded magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame. Dr. Budetti is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and was elected a member of the National Academy of Social Insurance in 1996. Dr. Budetti holds a California medical license and is a member of the Bar of the State of California.
